How accurate are the PS3 Guncons? Are they 1:1 with the multiple IR sensors? I have almost all of the Wii Lightgun games... and the wii controller is terrible at simulating a lightgun.
HALP (I have all the PS2/Dreamcast light guns, just no CRT)
edit: I know Time Crisis 4 is a weak entry to the series, just want to know the quality of the guncon.

Can't answer the guncon part. Sadly mine stay in the cabinet as I don't use a CRT for gaming anymore. But for the wiimote 2 things are required to greatly improve enjoyment of lightgun games.
I think the Wii controller is terrible at lightgun simulation because you don't hold it like a gun.
As far as I'm aware, the GC3 works in the exact same way as the Wii remote, with two IR lights and an IR camera on the end of the gun. It may be more accurate because the components are better quality, but I wouldn't know about that.

I have the nyko perfect shot and it's not very good, just slightly less terrible than the zapper. Really don't like the trigger on either.
The big issue is that it's not accurate. Wii "lightgun" are more of a mouse cursor than lightgun. I was hoping that the multiple IR sensors for the Guncon 3 would be accurate, it's getting hard to find and expensive.

1. The Nyko Perfect Shot http://www.amazon.com/Perfect-Shot-Wii-Nintendo/dp/B000X2RKOO
2. Some games, when played on an HDTV will be inaccurate as hell (HOD:Overkill comes to mind) unless you set the tv to 4:3 mode.
