Benq who? (monitors)

I'm after a good monitor, partly for extra screen space, partly for an xbox 360. I came across this and to be honest I don't really have a clue about monitors, or BenQ. I'm after something that's 20"+ and under £300 but obviously 22" for 212 sounds great. Should I get this or spend a bit more on something better?

Forgot to ask, can I even use a VGA monitor with an iMac?

I'm not sure if I'm reading it right but does it really only have a VGA connector? Sounds like it's a value monitor and you'll get what you pay for.

    You call that a monitor?

Ben Q's a good brand, but I'd research specific models a bit more if you're going widescreen.

Viewsonic, Acer and Westinghouse are all as good or better than BenQ and usually less expensive as well.

I'm happy with my 19" Widescreen LG. Any bigger would have been too big since I sit pretty close to my monitor.

I have a BenQ and its very nice, though its a bit bright and took me a lot of tinkering to get it the way I liked it. Its not widescreen though so I can't comment on that particular aspect.

The weird thing is, some sites list this monitor as having DVI, some as not.

Newegg has the black version of that monitor and if you look at the pictures it gives you visual confirmation of a DVI input.

    That's a different model. FP222W vs FP222Wa.

It's annoying but a lot of monitor companies are releasing slightly different (cut down) models in the European marketspace.

Oh, I just figured the "a" was to do with the different colour. Oh well.
