So i know all you fags were playing this a few weeks ago and have since moved onto Dragon Age
But, keeping with my tradition of being late to the party, I just picked up Torchlight and have been playin' it some, it's very cool. I never played Diablo because I am lame, so this is sort of a novel gameplay experience for me, and I'm having more fun with it then I did with Titan Quest
So I'm a level 13 Alchemist right now who dual wields pistols and looks like the goddamn batman
I love hack 'n slashing and pew pewing and the steampunk feel of this game!
additionally, what are some similiarly good isometric games in this vein, and what was the name of that WWII team strategy game that was overhead and intense
I like the fact that Torchlight is fully singleplayer, so you know for certain that no ability is "gimped unless it is used in a party". It means many more different types of builds are possible and it's impossible to gimp yourself.

Fandy, you made a good choice. I love this game. I played my first Alchemist up to level 55, then retired him and started a Destroyer(?). Dual-wielding axes and raping faces...
I liked the demo quite a bit and I liked Fate which was the sorta game before this. But I know there will be a $10 sale for this on direct to drive in about 2 weeks so I am waiting for that.
I have to play like every Diablo clone I can get. It was so bad I searched out the game Darkstone even though it was horrible. Titan Quest was pretty cool too except I like random items and areas.
And actually some of the best ones were the Lord of the Rings GBA games.
I bought this and played an alchemist for a little bit. It didn't really grab onto me the way Diablo does. The other two classes may be more for me though.
Silent Storm was the WW2 Jagged Alliance with unexpected battlemechs.
Oh man. Why can't somebody make a good modern recreation of tabletop Battletech for the PC?
Fuck it. Why can't someone make Mechcommander 3 and make it good like the first one and not butts like the sequel?
Seriously, I'd kill for this shit.
It couldn't be that hard to make a version of Megamek with 3D graphics.

Play Diablo 2.
It has stolen more hours of my life than any game I've ever played.
And I've beaten damn near every Final Fantasy.

This pretty much nails it
Still gonna buy it after Christmas when I have money again
