Help with Japanese?

Hello, I'm trying to undergo on a journey to Japan through an organization called WWOOF. I've decided on a family I would like to live with, but trying to understand their emails is very difficult. I've managed to figure out that they have indeed accepted me to live with them, but I need to talk to them about some more complicated matters and would love to know if anyone here could help me translate a few things. If you can that would be awesome and I will PM you my email or something of the like. Thanks!

    Do you speak any Japanese, or they any English?

    Do a google search for Jim Breen's WWWJDIC, it's a great go-to for English-Japanese-English translation.

    So this organization is helping to set up international homestays, but not offering help on making sure that the people on either side can constructively communicate?

    That is not along the lines of what I would call 'a good sign.'
