Rewards for your Mii?

So I'm really surprised I haven't heard a whisper of this, but seriously when are they going to start hooking up Mii's with rewards for accomplishments in games?

For instance, when I beat Zelda my Mii should be entitled to a green link hat. Or how about a special edition Samus mii for metroid? I don't even want to think what they could do with games like pokemon.

Someone please tell me I'm just retarded and they are already on this.

    that. is a great idea.

me and my friends only went as far as hoping they would give out "facial expression packs" for free. or maybe allow you to set up different emotion/facial expressions for your guy. I have mine setup to a grin that doesnt look to right when i get my butt kicked in Tennis.

    i need angry eyebrows.

I remember reading somewhere (the latest EGM, IIRC) that Miis may be used in the next Animal Crossing, and they would keep their outfits (most likely including any custom-designed patterns) from that game wherever they appeared.

That's good news. Once one game does it I see others 'getting the idea' and jumping on board. I think they could really expand it and unleash the unlockables whore in a lot of people.

I think I'd be more stoked to see my Mii as a playable character in twilight princess.

That really is an excellent idea. It'll be nice if they do that with Animal Crossing, but I would love to see your idea for the implementation go through even more.

All you have to do to get angry eyebrows is take regular eyebrows and tilt them inward.

I really want more facial options for Miis as well as ears and hats, and expressions!

More than 3 choices for beards and mustaches would be good, too.

Being able to change trouser colour as well as their top would be a big step in the right direction. I realise at the moment it's used to show favourite, foreign Miis and so on but this could be changed to a tiny badge or something I guess.

Proper clothing would be great but then we're sort of losing focus of the whole Mii concept of keeping it very simple. I find my main problem is that about 80% of the eyes and noses I can't imagine ever using for a real person.

I have some Wii virgins coming over tonight so I get to create Miis for them, yay.

I think it's cool that with the magic of the intertrons and firmware updates, all of this is a possibility in the future.

Once upon a time we just got what we got and LIKED IT.

At the very least I'd like to see that when you beat a game it at least show's a message in the Wii's little messaging system. Start with that and then maybe we can move onto Mii rewards.

A lot are very doable. I'm amazed at the quality of work my wife (a graphic designer) can pull out of the Miis. Mine always look like they have some sort of crippling disorder, but she has made spot-on replicas of people using the options I would have never touched.

Didn't Reggie or someone say it's very likely more Mii options will be available on the download service in the near future? I thought I read that somewhere.

I just wish more games used them. Even in Zelda if it just put your face in your save file or something, that would be cool. I know Wario Ware uses them, and I think Mario Party 8, too, but that's all I've heard about.

Will third parties ever use Miis, or are they exclusively for 1st Party titles?

Fuck, if they can put Mr. Game and Watch in Melee, they sure as hell could put your Mii in Brawl.

The Mii's with custom clothes from Animal Crossing is kinda a bad idea, imo.

I don't want to see a dude with a cock drawn on his shirt.

Then don't invite the online Miis into your game? OR DON'T DRAW A DAMN COCK ON YOUR MII'S SHIRT?

When I take my Mii with me on my controller, I'd imagine the only thing it stores is the codes for which pieces he uses - not the actual pieces. The same, I presume, happens with mingling.

That of course wouldn't support costumes specific to what game or downloadable you've aquired
