Inside of nose is very dry

I know it's winter and skin gets dried out easier but my nose this year is just sore and bloody all the time. It's really uncomfortable. Other than a humidifier, what would I need to do to make the inside of my nose more "moist"?

Lotion seems like a horrible idea to shove up there but mostly I was just wondering some options.

I will try to update what happens with what remedies.

A little medicated chapstick on your finger will be uncomfortable for a moment, but it will help heal the area. You can also try taking Vitamin E pills.

I get chronic nosebleeds from dry weather. They've been greatly reduced since I started using vaseline at night; just put a bit on your finger and shove'r up and around. You get used to it.

My wife had the same issue, and honestly she prefers a little 100% virgin olive oil applied around the inside of your nostrils with a q-tip.
She's tried saline sprays, humidifiers, etc. but nothing has worked as well as olive oil up the honker before bed.
We live in CO at around 7k feet of elevation, and it is dry as the dickens here all winter.

Also, make sure you're drinking plenty of water during the day.
Overall hydration will go a long way in helping.

Carmex works but stings like crazy, I've found that A&D ointment works even better without the wicked burn. It's thicker than Vaseline and also works really well if you get cracks in the skin next to your fingernails, you find it in the diaper cream section instead of with the lotions.

Saline spray helps, humidifiers help, but the ointment is the instant relief.

Ayrgel. That's the brand name. It is a little saline ointment that you can put in your nose to help dryness. I use it in the winter up here in Alaska because of such low humidity combined with the cold = serious dryness.
