Buying Movie Tickets on t3h Interwebz

So this may be a simple question to some, but what is a reputable site for buying Imax movie tickets in Ontario?

    Does Fandango work in Canada? I bought Imax tickets to see The Dark Knight in Chicago through them, worked fine for me.

    I don't understand how these movie ticket websites stay in business. the surcharges are crazy. movie tickets are expensive enough without surcharges. Honestly, they should be surcharge free and make their money off of advertising and the people who buy tickets but don't show up at the movie. But I'm not being very helpful. Try fandango and movietickets.com? those are the only 2 sites I know offhand.

    Can you not buy tickets direct from cinema chains' websites in the US? That's weird.

    That's how it works here too.

    Cheerios. Go to the website of the company of the theatre you want to go to and buy tickets there.

    try moviefone.com

    that's what i always use.

    their location entry applet thingy asks for state/province, so i'd assume they work in Canadia too

    i always use movietickets.com (i live in Vancouver, BC)
    it's easy to use - buy tickets online, then just swipe your cc through the kiosks when you go in and pick up your reserved tickets
