0 Day Attack on Earth

Hey everyone!

Not much happening this week!

Guitar Hero: Sammy Who? comes out this week for the consoles. I guess if you bought GH5 you already have this game or something?

Also, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers comes out for Wii this week. It looks pretty good but reviews have been pretty lukewarm towards it, though I'll have to read them to see why. Gamestop is selling it for $45, which is five bucks off MSRP.

Other than that, there's not much! Let's hope for something sweet on the digital distro channels this week! (...please be cave story...)

Merry X-Mas / Happy Holidays Everyone! Hope you all get awesome games under the tree this Friday!

I tried the Van Halen demo, and it reminded me of classic Guitar Hero, which was good. The four charts they made on Expert were pretty good, which gives me hope for the full game.

FF:CC:TCB actually arrived late last week. Gamestop called on Wednesday to let my wife know that her pre-order (my Xmas present) would be in on Thursday; we picked it up yesterday.

And they charged her full price for it. :P

I've put about 5-6 hours into it already. The camera's a gods-damned nuisance, but other than that I'm enjoying it. I haven't read any reviews other than Nintendo Power's (since that also arrived this weekend), but I can imagine what some of the complaints might be.

wait, what? I thought Crystal Bearers wasnt being released until the 26th? Both Gamestop.com and Amazon still reflect that date.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. Then I checked my voice messages on Saturday.

0 Day Attack looks like it could be fun but a $15 price tag is probably financial suicide.

I'm just hoping the PSP PSN update tomorrow is good. Come on Crisis Core & Pac-Man:CE!

EDIT: It's worth mentioning that this Week's XBox Live deal is Shadow Complex for $10 (normally $15).

I already have GH: David Lee's Tight Pants Edition when I got GH5.

I will be buying Shadow Complex this week though.

Best XBox Live Indie Game box art ever? I think so.

It should be up on XBox Live Indie Games for 240 MS points within a couple hours.

    Is it one of yours?

Edit: I'm sure I can watch the Youtube video to find out what it's like, but I'm not able to at work. :P

No, it's not one of mine (my next one probably won't show up 'til the end of February).

It's basically Space Invaders with NES presentation values. The twist is that you're playing 2 games of Space Invaders simultaneously and you have to switch back and forth (by flipping the screen upside down) between them since losing on either one kills you. It's kind of fun and I love the look.
