I'm looking to find more music to enjoy and I'm open to (almost) anything. Currently I like a lot of indie and hardcore (not a big fan of metal or metalcore). I'm trying to find more rap and electronic things. So please inform me about anything you find awesome.
Here is a random sampling of things I like:
The Pixies
Arcade Fire
Saetia
The Strokes
Neutral Milk Hotel
Anything Ben Gibbard touches
Raein
An Embrace of Angels
Daitro
Arcade Fire
Circle Takes the Square
The Cure
The Get Up Kids
Japandroids
Iron & Wine
Your indie is pretty "modern" -- do you own any, say, The Sea and Cake? They have a very tasteful use of electronics, rather than just "hey a synth!" like a lot of other bands. Also, Broadcast's first big album/compilation of EPs is very good, has a sort of 60s electronic vibe to it, and the album is The Noise Made By People. Although, I have found that lots of people are using indie as a genre now (containing many of the bands you outline), so if you mean "sounds like death cab for cutie" and not "indie rock," you might not dig those. Still worth checking out IMO.
For indie rap you might as well just go buy the Madvillain CD. You might also get a kick out of Aesop Rock's early work, which is somewhat hard to find -- Appleseed, as well as Music for Earthworms, are very good, although Labor Days is OK. Afterwards he gets a bit weird.
65daysofstatic (post rock, the last song of their last record is even a collab with circle takes the square)
Jaguar Love
Nakatomi Plaza
Still Life Still
Ra Ra Riot
Los Campesinos!
the list you give is a bit all over the map so I figured id offer a small array of different things.
hmm, you have pretty similar taste to me, so i'll list a few of the bands i like that you didn't list. a lot of these you probably know already.
the violent femmes (people seem to either adore them or hate them)
the jam (my favorite band currently)
T-rex (yessssssssss)
cake
elvis costello
the english beat
matt & kim (so fun)
I'm going to go ahead and recommend Empires. Mainly because all of their music is free in digital format (yes, free!). So you don't lose anything from giving them a go really.
That, and I genuinely think their first album is fantastic.
I have pretty similar interests in music so I'm gonna suggest An Horse, Angus & Julia Stone and Silversun Pickups. All excellent bands that I think you'll like.
You could also always just go onto Grooveshark and make a station out of a song you like. I can barely turn on Grooveshark radio without falling in love with a new band.

For rap I'd go with the following -
DangerDoom (MF Doom + Danger Mouse collaboration)
MF Doom - Mm Food
Deltron3030 (Delthafunkeehomosapien + Dan the Automator)
Aesop Rock - None Shall Pass
Blackrock - (The Black Keys w/ Q-Tip, Mos Def, RZA and some others)
For electronic I would second Death From Above 1979. If you're thinking more techno, Daft Punk - Alive is an excellent example of a live album done right.
Mr Obersmith on
Battle.net - Obersmith#1709
Live - MrObersmith
PSN - Obersmith
Youtube is run by tyrants, so all the songs are either live or shitty covers. Check out the albums "Pleased to Meet Me" and "Let it Be" first. Best all-around albums by them. "Bastards of Young" is their masterpiece, though.

I have pretty similar tastes... these bands don't fit in with what you've listed exactly but I think there's a good chance you'd like them anyway
As a slight warning to the OP Coheed are great if you take them for what they are- a Progressive Punk band. If that makes no sense listen to a song or two.
Sorry, but I'm more of a main stream listener as I was raised in Alabama and listen to country music until I was 15. I'm 20 now.
Sorry, i didn't mean to make that seem like a personal attack on your taste, i'm just not sure it lines up with the OP's tastes (then again, mine are abit 50-50 so... i shouldn't really be saying anything about it in the first place)

They'll be recording better ones. Also, super indie.

I'm personally getting into the UK Shoegazing era of the late 80's (ie My Bloody Valentine, Ride..)
Also, if you like hardcore, Have Heart are pretty much essential.
