You know something that's been crossing my mind every so often?
What if Slenderman was a manifestation of an lovecraftian deity
From the wiki entry for Nyarlathotep:
Nyarlathotep differs from the other beings in a number of ways. Most of them are exiled to stars, like Yog-Sothoth and Hastur, or sleeping and dreaming like Cthulhu; Nyarlathotep, however, is active and frequently walks the Earth in the guise of a human being, usually a tall, slim, joyous man.
Two out of three.
I always thought this about the GMan... but not this.

Urhg, I've been watching these slowly, but a minute thirty or so into Entry 16 I just closed it down. I'll have to try to watch it during the day time.

You'll definitely want to watch 23 in the day time
But it may prove futile as somehow you find yourself suddenly at night
Wasn't the "Seth" originally between 6:10 and 6:15, and very clear?
Now it's past 6:30-something, around the point where Jay is looking at the ceiling and the pipes, and much more static-y
No, it's still at 6:15
huh. I'll rewatch it again, maybe it's both?
EDIT: Checking, apparently it was my speakers on the 6:15 mark not being loud enough, I think. Also, there's a whispered/staticky one around that point that I mentioned in the last post too
i don't know if i even want to keep following this. seems like it's starting to be spun out artificially.
how so, do you mean just how long things are taking?
As far as I know, the guys that are doing this are still in college, so they have to balance the project with their classes and other social life aspects
The question is, should Jay be trusting ToTheArk, I suppose?
Hard to say. He could be screwed either way. It's either telling him
to stay home or something bad will happen or to keep continuing and something bad will happen, in my opinion. And this doesn't even delve into whether or not TTA is on Jay's side or trying to lead him to his doom
Also, I wonder:
The bit at the end: Evidence that TTA/Mask is Alex Kralie, or mocking Jay's opening text in Introduction?

I found the whole thing to be mocking Jay. The raw footage thing and then just a doll dancing about seems very mocking to me. Also a joke about how Alex was their puppet maybe?

Yeah, I think you may have a point with that, though I'm not sure if I agree with the Drawing Mannequin as puppet symbolism thing. Unfiction was proposing it as well, and it came across to me more as TTA trying to reference Slenderman (it looks like a jerky, sped-up version of what Slenderman is doing at the end of Entry #23)
The only question here is to what degree the freaky will be.
I mean, we know already that Mask can get into Jay's house when locked (Unless, for some reason, he doesn't, like, lock anything, which seems odd for someone who, judging by that window, lives on the first floor of whatever his building is since that'd be an invitation for any would-be burglar... but I digress), and somehow can entice him to leave the place without him ever knowing. Or, rather, remembering.

Looking through some surveillance footage. Not sure what I'll find. I feel like I just have know one more time what's been going on.

You know, I really don't grasp the complaints about the bedroom and masked guy. Can someone explain it to me because given that we don't really know anything about the guy, motivations or his mental state. With that in mind, the way he's acting doesn't come across to me as "bad acting." Instead, he just comes across to me as weird and ominous, which I imagine is the crew's intent.
On the other hand, the complaint I do have with it is not with the acting but the editing of the video. Are we supposed to assume that's how the webcam was naturally recording? Was it the effect of Masked Man being there? Is Jay just cutting out the chaff and leaving in the relevant bits or clips thereof?

Typo earlier. Still looking through the footage.

I just sat down and watched everything on the youtube channel. I love this, its got that kind of eerie feeling to it.
I noticed something about Version
At the end of the video there is a red x. Also, the youtube loading symbol appears at the end while it loads the related videos. The two combine to make the operator symbol
It could be a coincidence, but it was interesting nonetheless.

yeah, I think a couple of them do that, but I'm not sure which ones besides Version
There seems to be a constant "last second thing" that TTA vids have which youtube seems to frequently cut off, for some reason
I wonder if the abrupt "Entry 24 will be posted later tonight" is supposed to be an ominous return to routine or just a part of Jay's fairly taciturn (or, if I'm less generous, badly written) character. I do agree that the worst part of these has been the acting; Jay's cheesy panting in entry 23 took me out of what was otherwise a spectacular video.

I always thought this about the GMan... but not this.
ahahahahahahahaha
But GMan... Joyous? I'm not so sure about tha--
I stand corrected
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the first time he looks down the stairs there's still a bit of light down there, and the second time he does there is no light.

What the hell? I don't want to go on to #22 without seeing 21.

My guess is this is the calm before the storm

Like Entry 11. Oh man it freaked me out when I realized there was another sighting in it.
but the latest videos that actually attempt a story and acting is painfully bad
that one video with the mask guy in the room of the sleeping man, I actually feel embarrassed watching that (it is SO bad)
also not to mention some of the videos are borderline screamers (fucking lame)
