So I have a level 7 mage and for the last few levels she's had a weird status effect that I can't get rid of. I don't even know what it is and I'm having trouble fixing it.
Basically, she has black stuff (blood?) coming off of her all the time, and about a 10th of her mana is always gone.
I can't find anything on this in the UI or anywhere. The only thing that's red in her character record is fatigue (it's at 6.6%). I thought maybe the armor she was wearing was wrong so I switched her to robes and the fatigue went down but the effect is still there. It's really annoying to see and as a mage I really need ALL my mana, not just most of it. Halp!
Nope, as far as I can tell she has no injuries. Just in case, I tried giving her an injury kit and it did nothing. I've been all over her character sheet and there's nothing at all in the "negative effects."
It's one of your "always on" abilities. Did you make her a blood mage? As I recall it's either from the Blood Magic school or the Spirit Healer school

'Fuck yeah, me too. What little kid ever pretended to be part of the lynch-mob?'
Well then it sounds like you have activated some sort of sustained spell, they can lock down a portion of mana and have animations as well, although from your description I can't say which one in particular it could be, check your quickbar for active spells.

She probably have one or several injuries attained from being knocked out in combat.
