Recording Music/Sound off a computer to email

TcheldorTcheldor Registered User regular
Hey all,

So I'm trying to record the sounds/music my computer makes so I can then send those sounds/music to others or save them to use in later movies etc. I don't have a mic to record from my speakers, but I imagine there must be a good program that I can use that'll record it directly so I don't have to us a mic.

Anyone know of such a program?

What operating system are you using and what sounds are you looking for? They're probably already in a .wav audio format. Try checking your c:\windows\media directory.

Download audacity, then google "audacity record what you hear," or something similar.

I remember I used to do this all the time, but I think it's become harder recently ever since W7 came out. Not sure, though.
