No, it's not the Blood Frenzy that's the problem. It's just that the following moves I had in mind make no sense now with my seductress in Kislev. I will have to think about what to do next now... and I hate thinking!!! ;-)

I was more talking about how our dear brother of change would have gobbled that one with his magic. It'd be a horrible move for me.

My mistake. I should think ahead before posting. I'm still trying to get comfortable with playing this game via posts. What with including the information the other players need, and keeping the names straight ;).

    Oh uh...

I know that there was a time pre-game when we could discard cards, but is there any time during the game when we can discard as well?

No, the only person who can ever voluntarily discard is Tzeentch and only then during Upkeep before he draws to five. But then, there's no hand limit, iirc, so why would you need to?

There's no limit to how many cards you can have on your hand, so there's no point to discarding unless you're Tzeentch.

If you ask Tzeentch nicely, he might let you discard some cards. But as stated, there's no reason for you to want to. No hand limit, and you draw two new cards each turn regardless of what happens.

Let me have a little Blood Frenzy in Troll Country, I think that would be delightful.

Blood Frenzy - 0 - At the beginning of battle in this region, you roll two battle dice here and apply any resulting hits before regular battle dice are rolled.

I do believe it does counter it. The Changer of Ways cancels the text effect of the card before it is played. Warp Shield is only immune to it if played before the Changer of Ways.
