i think the PA forums should have that little thing that popups when you move the cursor over the thread. like it does when you put the cursor over the forum in the thread index.
that way we can see if the threads in SE++ are worth reading, or if they are lame without having to ACTUALLY click it.

And I don't think increasing the CPU load is a good thing.
CPU would only increas marginally as it has to look up the first / last poster date etc when you view the listing. But your talking at least 10-15 times the size every time someone loads the forum index. I don't want that kind of slow down personally
Yeah, who can blame him for not finding that though? It's not like mine didn't have a more descriptive title than this one or anything...
