LCD laptop monitor has developed a tic ?

Sounds weird, I know.

I have a Sager NP5760 17" (WUXGA) notebook system.
Lately, the monitor display will "tic" or "jerk" to the left one milimeter, for a millisecond in duration.
Yes, it's that slight - just the tiniest little spasm, barely perceivable.
It happens sometimes 4 or 5 times an hour, and some days not at all.
Heavy GPU use doesn't seem to affect it, I see it when I only have windows explorer open as well.
It's almost as if the monitor is ever so slightly recalibrating its resolution, display position, or something.

Has anyone ever encountered this type of behavior in an LCD monitor before?
Like I said, it's barely noticible and not a major issue - but if this is some harbinger of monitor failure or a sign that my current video driver is corrupt, then i'd like to troubleshoot it.

Thanks!
