You are to submit one drawing per each day this year. It can be as big or as small as you want, in any medium, any style.
When I say a drawing a day...it could be anything... a doodle on a napkin, a full blown illustration.
I think the value in the discipline is tremendous. I think there's additional value you'll get from the exercise sparking additional depths/levels of creativity. So on the work days (and I work an 8-5 in a corporate environment, I know how it is) just do the napkin doodle thing. Even if that doodle doesn't seem valuable itself, keeping the process going will be!
Beavo, you offered to link our blogs/whatevers. Can you link my flickr set for this in my goals? http://www.flickr.com/photos/mchristianphotos/sets/72157622988859741/ That's where all 365 images will be! Yay!
Blaaaah! I've been doing a zombie doodle every day since the first as my new year's resolution... Darnit, if I'd known about this, I'd have picked a better book to draw them in for scanning.
Sigh... If you guys don't mind a late starter to this, I could go fire up ye olde scanner and get my lazy butt in gear. :P

I've been trying not to comment on any of the posts in the thread as per the rules but... tracing a maze our on your significant other seems like an incredibly awesome thing do to. Thumbs up on that shirt.
Now to find a significant other and buy her the shirt....

Despite being just a little visually noisy, that is one badass shirt, Iruka. If that were for sale, and if I had the extra cash I'd probably buy it. I can't help thinking that I'd prefer the maze to be on the backside though. I have no idea why....
Nap - My feeling is that if you really have something legitimate to say, then it should be OK. Just so long as you don't go overboard. Then again, I didn't make this thread, or the rules. But that won't stop me from making a comment or two, here and there.
LTTP, but I saw the thread around the 6th, so I didn't want to post anything until I was up to date.
Goals:
-Build visual library
-Branch out into different medias, techniques, styles
-Draw with purpose
-Put more thought into drawing
-Face drawing issues more directly and work on solving them
-Draw more, and enjoy it!
Drawings before the 10th are Spoilered as there are 17 of them and I'd like to save a little bit of v-scroll hastle. I realize they still load.=
This week's topic was 2-point perspective, but the week didn't end like I planned.
1-10: The 10th-12th were essentially examples/exercises from the book I am using
1-11:
1-12:
1-13: My lazy day this week. Did two pages of 10-second gestures, then this page which was supposed to be 30-second gestures but ended up more like contours.
1-14: A reference sketch of my living room, to use the next day for a perspective drawing...
1-15: ... which wasn't going like I had hoped, so I gave up on it for now. I'm pretty sure the left vanishing point is in the right "place", but I need to move it off the page for the main part of the room to really look right. I'll pick up a piece of posterboard to help out with off-the-page vanishing points... eventually. Also, I had to pump the levels up on this scan pretty high for the lines to show up.

I make no guarantees on 7 a week though.
Poop on you! I have two and I'll be taking classes in the fall!
NUT UP OR SHUT UP, PEOPELS
I've got one and I'm taking full classes now and I've got clinical volunteering to do as well.
But alright, I'll try.
anyone with a wow account has an excuse
in no particular order except the last one (this really isn't all I've drawn in a week but I'm afraid to show the rest)
(these guys were two different days)
Yeah, WoW is becoming more of a problem with getting drawing done than any other factor in my life.
But okay, sorry, I'll stop posting off-track responses. Just don't give up so easy, you guys!
just loomis studies, hopefully i'm going somewhere this time with it
