I just got my Boxing Day online purchases today (arrived Friday at my parents' place, went there to grab it today, etc) and amongst the deals I snagged from Futureshop's online sale was a BenQ x700-Series keyboard. It was designed by BMW, or something. At any rate, it is fucking sweet.
My old keyboard was a Saitek Eclipse, which was awesome, until water mysteriously filled its innards. I'm not sure if I'm to blame a leak, a cat, or a vengeful girlfriend on that, but as it turns out, the keyboard is far from waterproof. I'll miss you, glowy.
In the interim I'd been using a piece of shit Dell keyboard a buddy stole from his employer for me.
Here's a small picture of my new baby:
So I don't know. We can talk about other sweet keyboards, or other sweet boxing day deals here. Did anyone else buy a keyboard for boxing day?
EDIT: PURSUANT TO THE NEW POLL

That looks like a prop from a bad sci-fi movie. Possibly from the edgy, attractive hacker character with the really great haircut's altogether too large studio apartment in trendy downtown Manhattan.
CUZ THERE'S SOMETHING IN THE MIDDLE AND IT'S GIVING ME A RASH
that is black
It was greeeeaaaat when I first got it (although I rarely used the gaming snap-in), now I'm back to my five-year-old crappy Dell keyboard. *shrugs* At least it works....
Wii Code: 1040-1320-0724-3613 :!!:
Whenever my friends try to use it I have to yell at them to not look at the keyboard or they're going to completely fuck up. Hell, I can't even look at it without losing the ability to type.
And God, what a disappointment the Optimus turned out to be, huh?
The first version of the Das Keyboard is very similar to the model M. The one pictured above is the second version.
My Logitech MX Revolution....not so much.
猿も木から落ちる
AFAIK its not out yet, and will be black in white, limited to 2fps animation on the buttons and projected to cost something like 2 grand.

I trod on it two days ago and broke one of the feet. It's fairly new as well I don't suppose there's a special replacement keyboard feet shop is there?
I'm pretty sure this is the best keyboard I've ever used, though. The keys are about a million times more responsive than anything else. They make a big deal out of this X-structure-majig thing they invented that's better than the normal spring mechanism or membrane deal you normally get with keyboards, but it kind of really is that much better. Plus a scroll wheel I'll never, ever use because I have a mouse that was manufactured after 1998.

Are you sure it's the noise from the keyboard that's really the problem, and not your girlfriend just using the most convenient way to gently tell you to stop nerding it up and come to fucking bed already?

I'll stick with my Eclipse 1.

It's definately the keyboard, it's pretty loud when typing, hard keys and such I suppose, I'm sure I've heard of keyboards with soft keys though much like ones on laptops.
?
I believe the technical, automotive term is "mad spinnas, yo!"
I use a Model M clone that's at least 15 years old. I have to use a serial->PS/2 adapter. I have a hard time believe I'll ever use a keyboard as pleasant to type on as the Model M.
Enermax Aurora. Thread ov.... Kidding I hate that!
I love this keyboard, it's overpriced (at least it is in the UK) but it's lovely to type on, and damn solid. Also importantly to me, it has no gay volume controls, power buttons, tea making facilities or anything else built into it. Only let down is the usb ports on it are usb 1 making them mostly useless.
That is actually the first remake. I have the original keyboard and it pisses me right the hell off. The board itself is great but the symbols for the keys aren't translucent so you just have a blue glow in between the squares of each key. It is hardly helpful in any way, shape, or form.
I really want the new model. Purple LEDs for the win.
Like those on a woman, eh?
My oldskool MX.
Am I the only one that thinks the Eclipse keyboards look godawful? They make me think of those god damn tricked out civics with neon lights everywhere. It just makes it look like a toy, not a serious piece of hardware.
Now that is a fine looking piece of machinery. How much was it?
