Wrist and arm pain

I have incredibly bad shooting pains up my wrists and up to my elbow, sometimes up to my shoulder, after extended Wii play, DS play, typing, drawing or writing. I had extensive hand therapy when I was young - should I book a doctor's appointment to check for carpal tunnel syndrome or tendonitis? Could it be something else?

Given that you're Canadian, yeah, book a doctor's appointment.

In the meantime, cut down on the unnecessary stuff that's fucking it up.

sounds like carpal tunnel. I'd get it checked ASAP.

edit: I am not a doctor. This is what my mom said her CT felt like.

Consider your position when you do those activities too though. ie, I get similar pains if my elbow is resting on the desk when I'm using the mouse. I guess I hit a pressure point of some kind that blows everything to hell in my wrist.

Ergonomics is going to be important to you for the rest of your life, considering the medical history you touched on with us.
