Are my emails going into spam folders?

Is there a way to figure this out. Im guessing I just sent something to someone with alot of email or bad organization but they told me one of my emails wasn't received. I resent it and they got it, but I'd like to know that my emails are hopefully not being sent to a spam folder.

    1. Send it to a friend, and tell him to check to see if he got it in his spam folder or his regular inbox.

    2. Create a dummy gmail and yahoo account (plus a few others if you wish) and send emails from your main account to each one of them and see which folder they appear in.

    Seems pretty simple to me.
