    I'm pretty happy that a random decision to grab coffee with a friend has led to a dinner and movie evening on Saturday with one of the most attractive and charming girls I know.

    Also, that I'm going to bed at a reasonable time tonight. Pretty happy about that too.

    Can't really top my dad dying, so in retrospect this year is already shaping up to be better than 2009.

    Europe might still work out. I've got the incredibly expensive prescription occlusal guard they wanted now. Still waiting on a woman from the medical clearance, but she's still out of the office from Christmas holiday and her voicemail hasn't changed. Maybe she died too.

    Last year things were looking pretty bad, but they're slowly getting better and the future looks like it will be even better! So I'm pretty excited, I haven't been hopeful in something in a long ass time. I hope the trend continues for a long while. I feel bad admitting this but I haven't felt this good since high school. I actually have goals and plans now. XD

    I just finished playing Dead Space for a bit, that game is great, and I feel good for playing a good game

    (the content, however, does not make me feel good)

    also I will hopefully have a new job soon! Hopefully! If not, well, I've still got a job so that's good.

    what do I feel good about right now

    I did have a successful pitch today and got a new client at my full rate, that had me feeling pretty good

    I am filling the next week with design production work working for a kids' game company, that's pretty fun
    then I found out my fucking idiotic finger surgery is going to cost $1800

    all of my good/bad feelings have to do with money; I should just run away and live with my anarchist brother in the woods

    I had a friend who tore his ACL during a hockey matched.

    We dropped him off on the sideline and continued to play and took him to the hospital afterwards.

    I was annoyed because I was told I could go to maccas if I scored a goal and I did and we had to go to the hospital instead.
