Nope, it really won't. Not gonna lie though, as weird as it is seeing a fucking 8 piece band running around, the songs are still played awesome and Axl can still sing like he did 10 years ago. Great show.
Every time I watch this is like re-reading an alan moore book.
Little details spring out from the background to make it even better.
The warping of the comedy matrix is so great it somehow starts spewing out funny-particles.
When I first started watching this, I was clueless as to why this was funny.
Then it finally dawned on me, and I couldn't stop laughing.
I would like to know... I was mostly confused.
This is essentially the comedian's version of trolling.
Norm MacDonald loves this kind of stuff. He was notorious in the SNL writing sessions for always wanting extremely long awkward pauses. In particular, when he was doing SNL news, he wanted to have a pause after a punchline that was at least 4 minutes long.
First time I watched it I recognized that Norm was telling ancient jokes that seemed to get progressively worse and more-awkward. It didn't strike me as that funny the first time and I thought Norm must be losing his mind or on drugs or something.
Second time watching it the humor hit me like a ton of bricks.
Watching it apart from the other comedians helps. The rest of that roast was a bit off.
just remember, he is presenting a set in front of the most fucked out, jaded audience in existence

I don't even know what compelled me to bring him up in the first place. I think I need to go to bed.
