Will this motherboard work with IDE hdd?

In the specifications, it doesn't list IDE as a storage device. I don't have the money to upgrade to a sata hdd right now, so this is a deal breaker for me.

Just wanted to double check before I finalize things.

Thanks a lot!

"PATA 1 x ATA133 2 Dev. Max" means it has one IDE connector for two devices.

    Thank you, Grrarg.

I see now why I missed that, I have no idea what it means. Now I do!

    I appreciate it!

You do realize that even a SATA hdd is the bottleneck in any system and you are further crippling your system by using something even slow? If you can budget $120 for the mb, then surely you can budget in $50-60 for a decent SATA drive, or $70 for an awesome drive like a WD Black. If not I would try holding off upgrading til you have the money to do it right, because the difference is a lot more noticeable than you may think.
