Swapping colours in an image

LorkLork Registered User regular
Does anybody know of a free way to swap one colour for another in a batch of images? I need to change the transparency colour on a set of sprites, and the paint bucket tool isn't quite cutting it for some of them.

Pretty sure you could do this with Photoshop; do you have Photoshop?

Nope. Guess I could try the trial.

Just use GIMP. It's free and as fully-featured as Photoshop.

I prefered Paint.Net to GIMP but I'm not sure if it can do what you want.

    Its child's play in photoshop.

Though you might want lightroom too if you're going to work in batches.

Lightroom refuses to acknowledge the existence of bmp or png files, so it doesn't work. Photoshop is simple enough, though. Thanks, guys.
