My Keyboard Has a Mind of It's Own!

So just tonight I noticed my keyboard is going nuts. Out of nowhere it acts as though I'm holding the "`" ("~") key, and continues to hold it for a while. It also has random spacebar taps, and escape key taps. Any idea how to solve this? It's making it damn hard to finish this essay thats due tuesday.

    I have a wireless keyboard plugged in too... and my cat was sleeping on it....
