In the past I've used Dvd Decryptor, and Dvd Shrink with my windows pc, but I don't have access to them for a very long time. I still would like to backup some copies of my movies, just because I'm a nut like that. Though I'm having a hard time finding the right program to do this on the Mac. Any suggestions?

Or HandBrake - which is also at versiontracker. I seem to get no sound when I rip using Mac the Ripper! Handbrake works a treat for me!

Make that another vote for Mac the Ripper.

Mac the Ripper for all your de-CSS and broken-disc-fixing needs. After that, Popcorn is a great choice, but I know there are others for free. I mean, I know that there exist others, but Popcorn is too awesome for me to know.
