Problem logging in on websites

So, I just recently came back from a trip to Cuba only to realize that my brother somehow managed to fuck the computer up so much that I cannot log on on pretty much every website I have an account on, with the exception of gametrailers and penny arcade, where it only logs me off randomly.

For example, if I try to go on Facebook and log in, even if it seems to remember my password, it will send me to the exact same log in page when I click to connect. No error message or ''invalid password''.

As for hotmail, I tried clicking on the ''use a secure connection'' thing but now it just sends me in an infinite loop where all I can see is two adresses changing back and forth for some reason, like it kept trying to connect but also kept sending me back

Do you use the same IP for both machines?

    Are you using a router?

I'm assuming you have cookies enabled?

Have you tried downloading another browser and trying to login using that?

Can you check your hosts file to see if there are any anomalous entires in it? That's assuming you are using windows. The hosts file is located at "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" - there is no extension on the file.
