Craigslist question

This is probably a really stupid question, but whatever i'm desperate.

I submitted an apartment ad for my place last Sunday at around 8 in the evening.I didn't get any e-mails for a few days, so I went to check my account to pull up the ad and...............I can't find it. Nothing pulls up.

What the hell.

I'm completely new to craigslist, and the help function isn't doing me any favors right now.

Did my ad even get posted, or is it hiding somewhere? It'd be a real pain-in-the-ass to rewrite it all over again.

Any help is appreciated.

Craigslist ads only stay up for 7 days. Usually people re-post every 2 days or so. That way you are always at the top of the search list. So it either expired or you never verified it via the email they send.

They only e-mail I received from the website was the one that verified my account.

I didn't know I was supposed to get an e-mail for every ad I posted.

Yes, you should be receiving an email where it gives you the information you need to edit or take down the post. As WELL as the final steps to publishing it.
