I am looking at getting my foot in the door of creating a web comic. I have very little artist ability, however I am very quick at learning. Does anyone have any ideas/recommendations for tools to learn how to draw comics? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!!!

To be honest, you really should learn to draw first. If you're interested in creating a comic from the writing standpoint, as well, it may be a wise decision for you to find an artist to do the drawing for you...rather than attempting it yourself.
It takes strong artwork to make up for a lack of writing skill (in a comic), and vice-versa. Obviously you shoot for excellence in both areas, but I've seen quite a few comics get by if they're really fantastic in at least one of those two areas.
"Learning to draw" is a pretty daunting task if you're new to drawing, or art in general...but it's absolutely essential in "learning how to draw comics". Once you can draw, you really only need to learn how to do appealing panel and text layouts......drawing is 90% of what makes "good comic visuals".

If you ask me, being a decent writer can be harder than being decent artist.
I honestly don't care how good the art is, if the writing is shit, I'm not going to bother.
That's true.....I can think of a handful of comics with extremely subpar art, but are fantastically written, and are really popular.
I can't really think of any that are the reverse, though. Subpar art is more forgivable than subpar writing, it seems. Then again, if the art is fantastic, the writing tends to be decent...at least in my experience.
the internet is full of webcomic art that barely deserves the name. Unless you are a truly great artist, what's going to draw people to you is the writing. See: XKCD
