Computer Trouble - No sound

Earlier I updated the drivers for my audio, Realtek HD audio. Once it was installed and i had restarted and all that i no longer have sound. I have tried reinstalling the driver, deleting the driver and reinstalling from the cd that came with the motherboard. There are no warnings in the device manager and windows is telling me that everything is working fine.

Im using a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P motherboard with the onboard sound. Windows Vista 64 bit

(yes the speakers are plugged in, and no the sound is not on mute)

Anyone have and suggestions to fix this?
