Getting a new 360!

So we are planning on getting a new XBox next week. We are getting an Elite. But as I understand it there are many different types out there. Any tips on what to get, considering HD space, overheating issues and how to identify what kind it is?

Also, my hubby and I each have our own profile, how will that work with licence transfer? Are both accounts done together, or seperatly?

    Nah, just get an elite and be done with it. All the Elite's have the same hard drive, and by now the chipset thing is done. Back when the Jasper's first came out it was a big deal but by now I think they're all that way.

    Yes, I believe I'm right in saying that all the new chip sets are Jaspers and 120 mb HD is probably going to be more than enough. Depending upon your use of arcade live/installing all your games to the HD.

    I don't know...most demos and arcade games are substantially bigger than 120mb.

    How to identify an Xbox360 with the Jasper chipset. It launched back in 2008, so as long as you're getting a new one and not an old bundle package, you're getting the latest revisions.
