How the hell do you turn off WMP auto-burn?

so every time i try to burn a DVD, WMP pops up and slows down my computer trying to load its burn list and trying to be the main program to burn my files.
is there any way to turn off this feature?

    under my computer right click on the dvd drive. Then under the auto-play tab make sure that for (blank media?), i think that is what it is called not sure i am a work and we use vista here, the prompt me each time radio button is selected.
