Our favorite LEGO based tabletop war game, wherein minifigs arm up to beat the crap out of each other.
BrikWars is the plastic-brick wargaming system that throws the peaceful worlds of your favorite construction toys into wanton chaos and destruction!
That is right ladies and gentlemen, A war game based on the idea where building your army, means you build your army; quite literally, and then have at it in the rootinest and gosh darn tootinest melee you ever did see.
Now there isn't much for me to say about this game other then its pretty awesome, with a good set of legos and some Imagination, the possibilities are nearly endless when you can build an entire battlefield from scratch.
Well that just about settles what I have to say on the matter right now, I would link to these dudes that make custom molded weapons but they are constantly shutting down their online store cause of overwhelming orders, check em out at brickarms.com, I'm pretty sure they have official re-sellers in Australia, some part of Europe, and Muricah'.
I almost forgot to jazz on how this game plays a bit, alright so basically its kind of a mutants and masterminds kind of game, they are big on fudging and "What I Say Goes", because the game is very focused on being fun and encourages being as rad as fucking possible. It is simple shit, you see a T-Rex and you wanna judo throw that mother into a building, possibly killing the T-Rex and flattening the strawberry filling out of some poor sons of bitches trapped in the crossfire.
Units can range from just a bunch of minifigs to having heroes, scouts, and stuff to that effect. Heroes are a big part of the game, where all your minifigs are just the slack-jawed rubberneckers and lookie lous that stand around trying to act tough, the Heroes are the real men who have the nuts to kill someone by willing a satellite to crash into them from orbit.
Also while we are here, I started up a ruleset of my own while I was sitting around waiting for my legos to come in the mail. It was originally meant to just be a quick ref for some rules because they just chatter on and on and on and on for 176 pages, so sometimes its a pain in the ass to find some things you wanna know, if you are so inclined to give a damn about rules, I just like rules, how to determine missed shots and minor stuff, if you just wanna blast it out on the fly thats cool. Eventually I ended up changing some rules to things that make more sense to me, so I was going for a more 4e feel then one of those "Alright my minifig has 'bubble gum mastery' so I can freestyle any actions I want using this term." kind of games, its just not my bag. I am really not done and haven't even played it yet, also a lot of it is most likely misspelled or I type the wrong word altogether. If you wanna check it out click the link below, and would you kindly PM me any mistakes you find.
Yes that is Travis Touchdown.
I have chosen to focus on Brikwars because that is what I am going to be playing with my group, but if anyone happens to enjoy any other brick based games, I know there are some lego RPGs and numerous other games that utilize legos, they are welcome to mention them in here.
So anyone play this, or even hear of this before? Plan to give it a go? comments and/or concerns?

As always, though, BrikWars looks like a lot of fun, but I've never gotten around to trying it out.
And I am happy to see there was atleast A post in this thread, I was crushed when there were 40 looks and no posts.
Regarding Crass Struggle, I update that frequently so if you happen to play brikwars and feel like checking it out, I don't recommend printing it cause I am doing a lot of rewriting and updating constantly.
I also started on a type of card system that causes events too occur while playing, think of judges in final fantasy tactics and Oregon trail. Link can be found in the Expansions section of Crass Struggle.
And props for remembering Mechaton; it's all kinds of awesome!
