Quick question about Facebook.

Ok, so I found my best friend from middle school on Facebook today. I haven't talked to him since then.

Anyway, I can't seem to get in contact with him...there is no send friend request button and no send message button.

Here's what I mean:

So what's going on? Does he just have insane privacy settings on or something?

I hate you and you hate me.

Probably his privacy settings... you can set it so no one can Friend Request you, meaning he'd have to send the request himself.

For someone with 211 friends you think they'd be less picky about who they choose to add.

But yeah, looks like he's got high privacy settings up, I guess all you can do is message him.

How? There isn't a send message button that I can find...

Maybe he has a mutual friend? Or you could ask someone you might recognise on his friends list to poke him.

Other then that there's no way to get around his privacy settings.

you have to send him a message asking him to add you. ran into this same problem with a co-worker. apparently this was set as the default when fb changed their privacy settings, she had no idea it was set this way or even how to set it that way.
