I sent my entry already and just and have a few extra questions for anybody else who has done it:
1. Did you get some kind of response back?
2. Have you received a shirt yet?
3. How long did you have to wait between when you sent your entry and when you got your shirt?
4. Which part of the "final credits" are they talking about, specifically?
I sent in my entry about 2 weeks ago, and I'm worried that I did something wrong. I know I got the e-mail address and personal information right, but I may have taken the wrong picture.
I sent my entry in a few weeks ago and have yet to get any kind of response. I attached a picture of the second end-credit sequence (the non-interactive one with the archival version of Fly Me to the Moon). I also took pictures of the achievement unlock, the final results screen showing trophies for all missions on normal and hard and the unlock screens for the hardest mode and the last LP. I didn't send those in though.
A few days ago I tried to submit my pics to the proper address (bayonettacontest at gmail dot com) and immediately got a replay saying
We're sorry, but the Bayonetta contest has ended.
If you've already entered: thanks for entering! We're going through
all the entries and photos. If you've won, you'll be getting your
shirt before the end of February.
Oh, ok, so it's normal to have not heard anything, I take it. I ignored the first announcement of the contest because I figured they'd get 500 entries immediately, but when they announced it was still running a week later (after I had already gotten 1000/1000), I took a few pictures of the Congrats screen (I re-did the last level on Hard just in case), the achievement, and my Hard level status list and sent them in.
What they were asking for didn't really make sense, there's no part of the ending credits that indicates that it was beaten on Hard, vs any other difficulty.
