I dunno why, but my Wacom Bamboo Tablet won't work properly in Adobe Photoshop CS4. Whenever i try to move it, the pointer just moves in a restricted area in the top left corner. If i move my mouse, it would work, but once i touch my pen to the tablet, the cursor just jumps to the top left. Any suggestions?
Your tablet may be set to only function in an area of the screen. I assume you've been to the preference panel already (with the mouse) and checked that the tablet is utilizing the entire screen, under the mapping tab?
I tried reinstalling the driver, checked the properties and the tablet is set to the full screen, i unplugged it, and it still doesn't work. It's JUST in PS, and ONLY when I am in the actual program, if I minimized it, it goes back to normal. Then when i open it up, the cursor jumps to a restricted area in the top left corner in Photoshop.
Unplug the USB cable from the USB port and plug it into another free USB port on your computer. It should prompt and install the driver automatically. After the installation It should work fine in Photoshop, or Illustrator for the matter.
If you wish to use back the USB port that you previously were, just plug the USB cable back to the previous USB port. It should be working just fine.
