    I second that if you use characters from a different language, like Chinese or Japanese, you can fit a lot more meaning into three letters.

    Also, if Hebrew has any meaning for you, many of the root words in the language have only three letters.

    Thanks guys, some great suggestions, and some hilarious ones...I wish it was in the kitchen because I would do every household chore for a year to put up "NOM", but sadly its just in kind of a utility room w/ a desk, her laptop, and an exercise bike. I'll throw together a bunch of these suggestions and see if any jump out at her.
