In the film "Employee of the month" (The new one with Dane Cook), he skates around the supermarket with those shoes that have wheels in the back. I saw a kid wearing them today in Tesco as well. I found a company that makes them called CruzShuz (Lame!), but they're not very prominent when I search for that name on Google, so I was wondering if they were the "main" manufacturer of these shoes, or just a cheap knockoff? I was looking for whoever makes the originals.

If you want the exact shoe try looking on Employee of the Month's website and see if they have a product listing or watch the end credits of the movie and the company will definitely be named.
*edit
Maybe it is Heely's, lol. I saw this latest one in some video game magazine and FHM or Stuff or something like that.
That's a surprise.
They are just jealous thats all.
I'M GETTING SOME OF THESE FUCKERS TOMORROW!
agreed
I think if I could find a pair cheaply.. I will buy... i don;t know why, but i really think I want a pair..
... but i'm 29. Am I a tool?
i have NEVER seen these until a couple years ago...
Librarians harbor a terrible secret. Find it.
that being said, cruzshuz is a good brand. so are wheeliz (i can't remember the exact name).
If you don't care about irritating everyone around you as you zoom around on your heels... well, you should care.
I also learned we get in trouble for pushing a cart in front of one of those annoying kids zooming around a turn not knowing whats on the other side.
I only once told a kid to stop riding on them, and then the mother came over to me and asked what did I tell her soon. I told her the same thing too. She then went on for five minutes bitching at me saying retarded things like "WHATS HE SUPPOSE TO DO TAKE HIS SHOES OFF?" and I just said "uh... no... just walk in them?" until she finally asked for my manager.
Never again.

I've just realised that I use the exact position to slide around on the kitchen floor in my socks.
In other news, yes, I slide around on the kitchen floor when I'm wearing socks.
Haha, seriously? What shop?
I bought a pair for my best friend this Christmas. She has small feet so I found the largest pair of them I could find. Sure, it's a novelty item, but it's a simple pleasure and makes the user happy. I can't for the life of me figure out what's so irritating about them to you guys. I see kids rolling around at the mall and it just makes me happy.
Seriously, pull the collective stick out your ass, world.
On an H/A note, the biggest size I was able to find was an 8 in men's, US. Which was the right size for a 5'5" girl, but I doubt you'll have much luck if you're any taller.
I got these here:
Which I like simply because my favorite color is orange.
Anyway, I got them for Christmas and I've only used them with wheels a few times. The shoes are actually comfortable so I just wear them as shoes mostly.
For anyone who thinks someone is "lazy" for using these, you really shouldn't speak unless you've tried them. They are harder than hell to balance on. I mean sure the commercials make it look so easy but it's anything but easy. (and I used to do a lot of aggressive inline, skating backwards and all sorts of crap, so it's not like I'm just bad at balancing or skating) This is totally different from skating... you literally have to lean back on your heels while having a wheel roll under you...
It takes some time to get used to balancing on them, let alone doing anything else (like moving around). The one downside is that you can't really use these things uphill or even on flat surfaces. (like a flat road) You can only use them going downhill or on really smooth surfaces (like floors in stores)
I have kind of big feet so it's really hard to find any in my size. I managed to get a size 11 though, which fits me great. (I had to buy them off ebay)
Then I see these videos of guys like, doing 360 spins in them, and think, "Wow, he's a toolshed"
Then I worry, "Will other people see me gliding around on these, and say, 'Wow, he's a toolstore'?"
It should be noted that you dont reach down to flip out the wheel, like I expected you would have to, its just a matter of shifting weight.
Sure there are the annoying kids that skate around in stores with them... but those kids are annoying with or without skate shoes.
It's way harder than it looks (at least with Heelys) My legs were burning 5 minutes into my first time using them. The videos/commercials do a horrible job of advertising the product... I get a knot in my stomach just hearing the announcer. But that's not going to stop me from trying it out.
One nice thing about Heely's though, is even if you hate using the wheels or you just can't do it... you can always just use them as normal shoes. They are actually made to be more durable than the average shoe since they have to stand up to a lot of abuse.
Basically, the entire school is annoyed by it. Like, it just seems obnoxious I guess.
When I first saw these in like 6th grade, I thought it was a cool idea. Now I think it's ridiculous...
Route 1 in the Morgan arcade. I went there yesterday, though, and they only do kid's sizes...
You live in Cardiff?
These things are way less damaging to our young people/future than fucking Libby Liu's in my opinion.
There is no longer a purpose for these aside from being lazy or going "lololol, my shoes have wheels!"
EEE!! Seriously? they have them in 8 mens? Thats my size! But I'm not a 5'5" girl...
Hah I figured it would be Route 1. I don't live there but I'm not far, I'm down in the valleys - so Cardiff is the closest real civilization
I think I'd like the pair without the wheels. Can't find anything on them though.
I won't be using them for grinding anymore. Nothing quite like practicing for weeks, thinking you've mastered it and then trying to show off at the mall and busting your eyebrow wide open. I never thought my face could bleed so much.
The steel plate just looks so fucking cool.
EDIT:
So yeah, I looked like a tool. Even more so because it was in front of my 2 best friends (10 years later they still won't let me live it down) and my girlfriend at the time.
