I'm sort of hard pressed to think of a DC book that I'd like to see McKeever on. I mean, he excels so much at writing sort of funny everyman characters, and DC has fewer and fewer of them these days. Though I think I'd kind of dig him on Blue Beetle or Green Arrow. Or fuck, the Teen Titans, if they can pry it out of Johns' hands.
Fuck fuck fuck. Dude is kicking ass on Spider-Man loves Mary Jane and Spider-Man and his amazing friends. This is sad sad sad.
Oh well, DC really needs another good, fun writer right now so hooray for them. I wonder what he'll be writing there.
I feel your pain. I was pretty pissed off to hear that Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray had gone DC exclusive, especially after Daughters of the Dragon lured me into the new Heroes for Hire. Now I figure I'll just wait to see what they do at DC. Their first issue of Friday the 13th was pretty good.
