The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Pretty self-explanatory. I'm throwing a St. Valentine's Day Massacre party on the 13th to celebrate gang violence...and love(?).
I want to have some dancing going on, and while I'm hip on all the latest dancing stuff, I'm kind of iffy on stuff that would be good for this kind of party. I'm guessing jazz-stuff?
So musical suggestions? Something with a 1920s, fun-time feel. Danceable is a plus. Also, danceable music with gangster type of themes (can be more modern, I guess, no one is perfect). I'd like to have some authentic sounding music, than also mix in modern-ish versions and/or remixes.
50 Cent's album "The Massacre" was initially titled "The Valentine's Day Massacre" (primarily due to its release date) but it doesn't really have any of the sounds of the two songs listed here.
