Just recently it was announced that in 2010 (this year, btw) they'll finally be releasing a box set of the best show for high school cynics, Daria. Unfortunately, due to expensive licensing, all the Cool Top 40 Hits Of the Decade will be replaced with generic background music, but I think we can suffer through it.
ARE YOU EXCITED, WELL YOU SHOULD BE, HERE LET ME HELP YOU.
"All right Ms. Li, let me make sure I have this straight. You took my daughter's poster from her, altered its content, exhibited it against her will and are now threatening discipline because you claim she defaced her own property which you admit to stealing?"
i can think of a couple of really good bits on this show that will have the joke highly diminished by replacing the music with generic background stuff
it's usually when they're directly referencing the music in question

I remember playing Beavis and BUtthead on the SNES, with a friend.
We were trying to get through the Hospital level, but kept fucking it up because we'd get to the part where you jump across the light fixtures. We'd get so far, then one of us would screw up and we'd have to go back.
We were having to time our shit as a team just to get across that nonsense. It was hilarious.

nanana na na
this is my life this is my stuff
something something
it's my turn to say damnit
I don't really mind the music being replaced because really I don't remember any of the music from daria
so long as Mystic Spiral is still kickin' it
but i didnt have cable so i only saw it a few times
is this show actually any good or is this a nostalgia thread?
even horribly butchered on TeenNick/The N
Opinions are subjective, they can be neither right nor wrong, blah blah blah
But dang, dude, that one is straight-up incorrect
any specific date outside of 2010?
to be fair, daria was way over my head when i was younger and beavis and butthead had a lot of butt jokes.
She couldn't be thinner.
Now she goes in the bathroom,
And vomits up dinner
whatever happened to this?
I want answers!

"D: That's not what I said at all!"
But if it means MTV finally puts out the DVDs, it's acceptable.
also I worry a bit about this because I remember in some cases the song was relevant to the jokes at the time
like that bit with the road trip and it being "just like that REM video"
It could be just him yelling at people for 20 minutes, or until he has an aneurysm.

WHAT
WEAK
no seriously this is pretty tits
knob, ladies and gentlemen
this game was awesome
it was designed to appeal to precisely the kind of person who needs a good hard smack in the mouth
so like
all of us
i think I still have the CD somewhere around here
but it probably wouldn't play on my computer, even if I had Windows XP/Vista/7
