Power Plug Extravaganza (pc \stuff!)
INeedNoSaltwith blood on my teethRegistered Userregular
Okay so the original reason I made this thread isn't an issue anymore but this is:
I seem to have fucked up something up in the transfer from one power supply to another. I kept a list of power plug things every time I removed one from my old power supply (one from the hard drive, one from the dvd player, one from the motherboard, one from the bunch of little media drives thing) and made sure that each of those got a new plug when i put the new power supply in.
However, now, when I turn on my PC, the fans start spinning and... that's it.

okay here's a question the manual says my SWEET NEW GRAPHICS CARD wants two 6-pin power connection things from the power supply
however I can only find one place on the card to actual plug that in

man
okay so i can't figure out what i did wrong
i kept a note of everything i unplugged from my old power supply as i unplugged it and made sure that i plugged things back into those same spots when i put my new power supply in
but not all pressing the power button on my PC does is send the fans spinning
Hmm of all the ones I looked at on new egg they only have one six pin plug so it could be a manual typo or one that covers multiple models so there might be some with two but some with one as well.
Make sure the video card is seated well it could keep the machine from booting if it isn't fully plugged in.
