    Will it run, yes.

Will it play well, not really. That's a pretty weaksauce processor (single-core, low clock speed, tiny L2 cache) and both WoW and TF2 (and all Source engine games) love CPU power.

What kind of budget are you working with here?

Looking for a DX:HR OnLive code for my kid brother.
Can trade TF2 items or whatever else you're interested in. PM me.

Well between 300-500 I know its not alot but it's what I can afford.

Mainly I want to play WoW on it at max settings with High FPS.

With that budget you'd probably have to look at a desktop instead of a laptop (assuming based on that display) to get the sort of performance you are looking for.

I agree, it's not gonna happen at all with that configuration.

Buying a single core processor now a days is pointless. Even a modest dual core system is going to provide significant gains in gaming and general usage.

Yeah, I'd also recommend springing for a dual-core processor. You get much more out of it if you do.

With your budget this, and only this.

The best possible bang for buck is still a desktop, by far.

It's more useful to have a decent Desktop for gaming plus a netbook for portability than a mediocre laptop that is not as powerful as the desktop neither as portable as the netbook.
