______________________________________________________________________

If you're getting in-game freezing every few seconds, do the following:

Go to the folder where you installed the game.

Go to Binaries and make a shortcut of MassEffect2.exe.

Now open properties on this shortcut and add the line -nomoviestartup.

It should look like this "...Binaries\MassEffect2.exe" -nomoviestartup.

Start the game. It should work lag free now.

______________________________________________________________________

The third kind of loading problem is addressed here. It deals with their length.

Some questions people keep asking:

Q: Is there a point of no return?
A: Yes, spoilers!
The IFF is where the endgame starts. You should have your house in order before you do it. OR ELSE.

Q: Where are all the anomalies?
A:
Neith - Amun - Eagle Nebula = Wreched Merchant Freighter
-leads to Abandoned Research Station
--leads to Hahne-Kedar Facility

Joab - Enoch - Rosetta Nebula = Archeological Dig Site
-leads to MSV Strontium Mule
--leads to Blue Suns Base

Tarith - Lusarn - Crescent Nebula = Blood Pack Communications Relay
-leads to Blood Pack Base

Zanethu - Ploitari - Hourglass Nebula = Wrecked Ship
Helyme - Zelene - Crescent Nebula = Captured Mining Facility
Franklin - Skepsis - Sigurd's Cradle - Javelin Missiles Launched
Sinmara - Solvieg - Caleston Rift - Endangered Research Station
Canalus - Dirada - Pylos Nebula = Anomalous Weather Detected
Gei Hinnom - Sheol - Hades Nexus = Quarian Crash Site
Aequitas - Fortis - Minos Wasteland = Abandoned Mine
Q: What are the various import bonuses?
A: Players with the "Rich" achievement start with more dollars in the bank. Characters at level 60 start at level 5, 50-59 start at level 3, and characters at least level 40 start at level 2. Apparently there are also hundreds and hundreds of tiny decisions that are brought over from a Mass Effect 1 save, so you really owe it to yourself to have at least one, good save (referred to as a "canon save")

Q: What is the canon for a new, non-imported ME2 character?
A:
If you don't import a character the choices are
Male shep - Ash alive, Fem shep - Kaiden alive
Rachnai queen dead
Wrex killed
Council killed
Udina on the council
No romance
News report done well
Conrad not sent home iirc

Think thats all of them

Q: What do I get to change when importing a character?
A: Class and appearance. Your name and everything else stay the same.

Q: Can I see the weapon stats?
A: Here.

oh, and spoilers? if they'll destroy your experience, try to bag them and tag them. thanks.

    Geth biotics.

Why don't we see them? Wouldn't it be easier for them than for organics? Pop some eezo into the circuits, run electricity through.

Maybe they don't want to be! Maybe it's not that easy.

You can artificially make an organic a biotic, at least. Prior to his implants, Saren wasn't biotic.

Do we even know the Quarians had child soldiers?

As I was saying before, any child with an Omni-Tool is a child-soldier.

I wouldn't say thats a soldier per se. Thats sort of like saying a kid who starts fooling around with his dads gun is the same a 13 year old mercenary leader.

My statement ties back into my little story.

That child becomes a soldier when he tries to shut off his nanny Geth, who very much does not want to die.

I believe Mordin sums up my points on this matter:

"Loathe metaphors. Pander to uneducated masses. Get doctorate, have a real conversation."

"Not metaphor. Thought experiment. Hypothetical situation justifying Geth slaughter of child."

I don't know. Technically we should. Though now i remember didn't humans need to be taught it be the Asari ect? I may be misremembering.

Probably because they have no need for them. Ezzo is rare isn't it? They might as well put it all into making ship drive cores and shit. I see no reason why they couldn't, so if at some point they got into full all out war with someone, we might see geth troops using biotics. But right now the mobile platforms are made pretty much as they are needed, so for now it's probably cheaper/easier to not make them biotic.

Naw it's better for the soldier too in most cases. Those exceptions being that you suck at aiming and take forever to line your shots up, and specific enemies in the game with a ridiculously huge armor/shields/whatever bar that are relatively stationary that you aren't going to bring down with the 13 shots in your widowmaker, so the more efficient clip of the Viper wins out.

Hey quick question, if anyone knows:

When you import an ME character into ME2, does the bonus to Renegade/Paragon come from your Renegade/Paragon scores in ME, or is it based on your Charm/Intimidate skills?

EDIT: Also just beat insanity and finished all the ME2 achievements. I'll be honest in saying that while I probably won't play Insanity again for ME2, the suicide mission felt way better beating it with the difficulty ramped up so much.

But uh, yeah I'll stick to normal for more relaxing playthroughs for future Shepards. :P
