Installing Microsoft Office on a second computer

I just got a netbook, and was about to install Office on it, but can't seem to find my disc. I know I have the student version, which allows up to I think three installs, so I'm not asking to do anything dodgy. What I'd like to know is if there's any way to find my product key on my desktop, which has it installed, and use it to activate the trial version on my netbook. If not, I've got a few hours of digging through overcrowded cupboards ahead of me, so hopefully there's a solution.
