Expunging an old ticket in CA

I have a speeding ticket on record thats about 2 years old (issued in Dec of '07), and I am hoping that I can get that expunged so the new insurance I have to get is not going to cost me frakin $texas.
Is it possible to remove it via traffic school or am I just going to have to suck it up and live with really shitty insurance premiums for there rest of the year?
