This is a place for the collective screenshots that you take and want to post somewhere. Do not post 500kb+ pictures elsewhere on the forums.
Even ignoring the usual size rules, please try to be reasonable with your file sizes. I will jail and ban you if you somehow manage to post a 10mb picture.
This thread is tagged as: MISCELLANEOUS and thus applies to any MMO in the forum.

I still don't understand why the first picture is particularly noteworthy. Is it just funny because there are lots of mobs stacked together? Otherwise it must be an in-joke for a dungeon I've never done.

It's basically Munkus' ePeen. That is Razorgore in BWL back in Vanilla (as you can also see from the old Hunter's Mark). For this fight someone mindcontrols Razorgore (a dragon) and has him destroy all the eggs in the room. While he's doing that, mobs spawn in the corners that have to be handled in some way. Popular strats at the time had one or two types of mobs kited around the room. (One of the few fights were horde had it easier as Shaman could drop Earthbind Totems)
The difficulty was of course in adding more mobs to the train while you were still kiting some. You had to fly-by-aggro them and keep aggro over the healers. And the picture is showing Munkus having a huge train of mobs.

A total of 40 mobs that I kited for 2 minutes because the other kiters were dead and the guy on egg duty was a total moron.

Those items are all "Rogue Only" items. This particular boss has a loot list of over a hundred items spanning all classes and talent specs, and the guy decides to drop two Rogue PvE set items and a piece of Rogue PvP gear. There's only 1 Rogue in a group of 25 people so Mr. Stabby there gets all three pieces of loot from a boss that takes 25 people to kill.
Two pieces of iLvL 264 T10, astronomical odds. Saved him 155 badges from buying the iLvL 251 pieces and DKP or whatever from buying the tokens in a 25 man raid.
You lot working with dkp? Because that'd set him back a few raids at least.
VOA pick up groups usually just roll among the class or spec that can use the item.
oh wow PUG with 25 folks and killing bosses just the same. Goes to show how I haven't been playing. Back in my day PUGging anything above 10-man content would be suicide.

ImperiusV was right it was just a PUG. VoA is the easiest end game dungeon and has shitloads of random loot from other instances. That was the first time i've ever seen such a BS drop, especially since there was only 1 rogue in the raid.
So this shot is from today's Cataclysm screenshot of the day on the official website:
Doesn't it look a lot like LotRO?
Hmm, the trees are far less detailed, there's no distant shadows and there's far less stuff on the ground. I must say the water and drawing distance are very nice improvements. Now how about the player models? I mean, they're a weak point in LOTRO as well imo (unless you wear heavy armour).
Players models are going to be the same as they ever were. The two new races they'll be adding (Goblins and Worgens) are sure to have nice models/animations though.
They've been getting better about the armor though. Wrath of the Lich King saw the first examples of pants that weren't just painted on to the player mesh (the metal pajamas look). I'm hoping that they continue the trend of adding more geometrical features to the armor in Cataclysm.

Well, my biggest quip with MMOs is usually blatant clipping issues. I mean, shields always stick through shoulders, swords clip through the ground and heads through mounts.
Yeah, I don't think that'll change. Those issues are caused primarily by the size of shields and weapons, and I doubt they're going to get smaller anytime soon. I know they're comically large in WoW, but if you were to take that aspect away from the game I think the player base would react poorly. New armor and weapons would feel "dinky" and visually less "powerful" in comparison to the items we have now.
Wise fwom da gwave! Okay, so Darkfall isn't the prettiest game ever made, nor most people's cup of tea, but we had a pretty fun guild event today. Another clan was building a Wonder (which is a hella expensive structure that gives a huge stat boost to its clan members, globally), one of the 6 or so that can exist at any one time.
They invited a bunch of guilds over to spectate, including ours. Keep in mind Darkfall is a full PVP, full loot game, and the guild inviting us is usually pretty hostile to others, so it was rather... exciting.
Oooh, big ship.
Lots of people!
Lots of people with AoE spells!
Okay kids, sit down so we can present you...

I posted about this in the L,L,L,L thread already, but posting a screenshot because it is bananas.
Note my level.
This sort of happened on my priest as well, except the PVP item wasn't for priests and I got both sets of gloves (heals/DPS) instead of gloves and legs. Kinda wish it was gloves and legs, though, cuz I hardly ever go shadow anymore.

I can see the Tauren starting area from TB if I turn my FOV just right.
Here are three shots without full screen glow. You can see the starter village in the top right of one of them.
These ones have full screen glow and sky Level of Detail set to 3 instead of the default 1.
If only my rig was good enough to play like this all the time.
I'll try to think of or find some more good places where the draw distance will shine.
EDIT: Also I will choose a different format than jpg, in game it looks much better.

I mean, besides 1 rogue getting 3 epics.

God damn your bars were fucked up back then. You have the same spell in 4-5 places for some.
Wow that picture brings back memories, like when Omen of Clarity was a buff.

And I had at least three different ranks of greater heal, as well.
Maybe.

RP servers are pretty fun, this was a pretty huge organised battle in Hillsbrad, these events are the most fun I have in warcraft.
Moria can be impressive. Character is about 5"5 tall:
