On a recent email to Aruze, the publishers of Shadow Hearts in Japan:
Dear Miles,
Arigatou gozaimasu, thanks for your mail.
At present, unfortunately we do not have a plan to release sequel of Shadow Hearts series.
If anything comes out in the future, we will make a release.

Seriously, if you mail Nintendo right now asking if they have a Zelda game planned after Phantom Hourglass, they will probably say they the same thing.
ZELDA IS NOW IN THE GRAVEYARD.
Cherrn on
All creature will die and all the things will be broken. That's the law of samurai.

Yea, this is kinda funny. New games aren't usually announced to random people, and a developer will never tell you their plans for a game until it's announced. And that's usually when the publisher wants them to.
Seriously, right now try emailing a dozen companies that haven't announced their sequels yet and see if you don't get the exact same reply.
There's a snow day today, I have no school, fuck grammar.
Anyways, it isn't just that, but also that Nautilus(the developers of SH) are not even listed under their affiliates anymore. Their website is dead, and any mention of them is gone.

Ahem. Are you dumb?
If you read, you'll notice the message from Aruze is going to Aruze
From Aruze? It says TO Aruze
Back on topic!
Maybe... they'll get plans?
Dude, that's a standard reply. They're not going to announce any plans for a sequel to THAT GUY ON THE INTERNET.
D'oh!
ZELDA IS NOW IN THE GRAVEYARD.
'On', as in 'following', or 'Aruze wrote'.
Seriously, right now try emailing a dozen companies that haven't announced their sequels yet and see if you don't get the exact same reply.

edit: oops, I misread what you're saying. I guess you're saying the same thing I am.
Yeah the op's letter is just pr speak. They always say that if they don't know for sure. Doesn't mean a thing.
"On" in this case means "On the subject of."
As in, "[said in an email] On [the subject of] a recent email [I'd sent to] Aruze"
I cannot believe this has caused this much confusion. Do you guys really not know what he meant by "on"?
It could also have read "In reply to a recent email I sent to Aruze, the publishers of Shadow Hearts in Japan:"
Meh, who cares, grammar is where it's at!

It only has two dimensions. Seriously. I only play games with five or six dimensions, minimum.
Until we see Mega Man 3-2, I'm turning my back on those fuckers at Capcom.
I want to know what happened to Tidus. I mean, Gemini Man.
