You probably should have claimed 1. If you have no kids and your wife works, it's not really necessary to claim her as well. I wouldn't go all the way back to 0 this year since there's no sense in overpaying, though. 1 should be fine.

Depending on how you are filing (jointly or separately) and how much she made, you may have to pay this year. However, it's really all dependent on how much either of you made and how you are filing. Just be patient and see how it works out. Even if you have to pay, it probably won't be that bad.

How good are you about saving?

If you're good about saving, and don't mind having to pay out at tax time, go with 2. If you're okay about saving, and don't want to have to pay out too much at tax time, go with one. If you're like the rest of us, and better off thinking of a tax refund as a windfall (not to mention not wanting to have to write a check to the government), claim 0.

ive always claimed 0 im not sure why I claimed 2 this past year! my wife had 3 part time jobs, one of them she only had for maybe a month and half. she always claimed 0 im just hoping that I dont have to pay. If i do have to pay a little thats ok, but I think that it should be pretty even??
