Also what's the main thing that makes it great? Drama? Twists? Intriguing characters? a mix of all three? If so, which is the most obvious?
it is pretty great! the main thing that made it good for me was the tension, like there are scenes that are intense as fuck and get your palms sweaty. Drama was definitely there, and the actors do a great job giving their characters depth and make you wanna keep watching them on screen, especially jeremy renner. Doesn't really have too many twists, its more a series of day-in-the-life war incidences, but doesn't make it any less intense.

I don't seriously expect A Serious Man to win that much, because it's so pointed (it's one of those movies that makes much more sense if you're Jewish and over thirty) but I loved it.

Roman Polanski
I have faith.
What I really want to do is see this and Shutter Island in the same day.
Polanski and Scorcese in theaters on the same day.
That would be nice.

no I'm not ready yet
I saw it with a stupid friend though so he didn't get a bit of it. Me and the two others were explaining it to him all the way home.
That Ghost Writer movie looks pretty decent, plus Ewan MacGreggor so...

it's pretty great
it's not like a movie that's going to change the world, but it's really well put together
Which again makes me pissed off that The Unusuals was canceled.
and all this time i thought it was going end world hunger!
haha, what
literally 40 minutes after my post i spilled dr pepper all over my macbook thus destroying it
it will if you believe
that was a pretty good movie!
What's our next move, boss?
Because I watched terminator salvation last night, and, well, it was pretty shitty.
it was also pretty shitty
