Trashcan (Falcon) Punch! [<2 hours to answer]

so there's a party tonight and we're trying to figure out how to make a delicious big drink we can serve out of gatorade jug we have. We have a bunch of Hawaiian Punch for the punch/juice part and are contemplating with we need more than just one handle of vodka (I'm assuming we will) but what else could we mix with the vodka or how much should we get?

The vodka is fine. Chop up some fruit or something if you need too. Anything else will be overkill. Unless you're looking to induce alcohol poisoning.

I think the ratio i've used for a trashcan punch is one handle of XXX to four regular sized bottles of soda, (2-liter, i think). But that was with everclear. Note: that may have been the secret double probation version.

Start with the HP. Add a handle of Vodka. See how that tastes. Then just add more vodka till the point that you can KINDA taste the booze, but not really. Definitely NOT more than two handles though.

Also, I wouldn't use bananas. Try melons or apples. Bananas will turn into mush.

is

1) make a small batch first and then scale up

2) TASTE (not drink, taste) AS YOU GO.
